Coconut Chutney





Coconut Chutney

Ingredients

·       Coconut                   - 1 cup
·       Fried gram               - 1 table spoon
·       Ginger                     - 1 inch piece
·       Green chillies          - 4
·       Salt to taste.

For seasoning

·       Oil                            -1 table spoon
·       Mustard seeds        - ½ teaspoon
·       Urad dhal                 - ½ teaspoon
·       Curry leaves            - few

Method

·       Add all above the ingredients in mixie jar, grind it in chutney consistency.
·       Heat the kadai with one table spoon of oil, add all above the seasonings one by one. Let the mustard seeds splutter then add it to the chutney.

·       This chutney goes well with Pongal, Idly and dosa.
