
Karnataka Special Halbai Sweet
Ingredients
· Cracked wheat - 1 cup
· Jaggery - 1cup
· Almonds - 15 nos.
· Ghee - ½ cup
· Elachi powder - ¼ teaspoon
Method
· Wash & Soak wheat and almonds over night
· Next day grind wheat & almonds add water into smooth paste, filter only the milk and keep aside.
· Take the kadai add jaggery & water let it boil
· Once the jaggery melts add the wheat milk & half of the ghee let it cook. Keep on stirring till the mixture leave side of the kadai.
· Finally add the remaining ghee & Elachi powder mix it well, switch off the stove.
· Transfer to the greased plate. cut into desire shape
· Enjoy this Karnataka Special Halbai Sweet.
