Coconut – Peanut Chutney







Coconut – Peanut Chutney

Ingredients

·       Coconut                  - 1 cup
·       Peanuts                  - ½ cup
·       Dried red chillies    - 6
·       Garlic pod               - 1
·       Tamarind pulp        - 1 teaspoon
·       Salt to taste

For Seasonings

·       Oil                          - 2 teaspoon
·       Mustard seeds     - ½ teaspoon
·       Urad dhal              - ½ teaspoon
·       Curry leaves         - few


Method

·       Fry the peanuts & skin out.

·       Put all the above ingredients into the mixie jar grind it in chutney consistency.

·        Heat the kadai with 2 teaspoon of oil - add all the above seasoning ingredients fry it then add to the chutney.


·       Now the peanut chutney is ready to serve with idly & dosa.
