Maidha diamond cuts



Maidha diamond cuts

Ingredients 

·       Milk                                          - 1 cup
·       Oil or ghee                              - 1cup
·       Sugar                                       - 1 ¼ cup
·       Salt                                          - 1 pinch
·       All purpose flour ( Maidha )   ~ 4 to 5 Cups
·       Oil for deep frying.


Method

·       Take the pan add milk, oil or ghee & sugar let it boil.
·       When mixture start to boil switch off the stove & let it completely cool.
·       Once the mixture is cool add pinch of salt & flour, a little at a time. Do not add all the flour at a time.
·       Kneed the mixture like chappathi dough.
·       Make ¼ inch thick chappathi - cut into sqaure or diamond shape pieces.
·       Deep fry these pieces into low flame till golden colour.
·       Store this into air tight container.
·       Enjoy this diamond cuts with coffee or tea.
