Tomato Gojju






Tomato Gojju

Ingredients

·       Fresh ripe tomatoes      - ½ kg
·       Onion                          - 1
·       Turmeric powder         - ¼ teaspoon
·       Chilli powder              - 1 teaspoon
·       Sugar                          -  ½ teaspoon
·       Salt to taste


For seasoning

·       Oil                          - 1 table spoon
·       Mustard seeds         - 1/2teaspoon
·       Urad dhal                - ½ teaspoon
·       Curry leaves            - few

Method
  
·  Take the pan put all the above ingredients cook it for till the tomatoes & onions get soft. No need to add water. Mash it using potato masher.
·  Heats the same kadai with oil, add Mustard seeds urad dhal & curry leaves. Let the mustard seeds splutter then add to the cooked tomato gojju.
·  This tomato gojju is very good combination for chapatti & poori.
