Spicy Kara pori

Ingredients

·       Puffed rice               - 4 cups
·       Peanuts                   -½ cup
·       Fried gram (dalia)    - ½ cup
·       Garlic pods              - 3
·       Curry leaves            - few
·       Turmeric powder     - ¼ tea spoon
·       Plain chilli powder   - as per your taste level
·       Oil                            - 2 teaspoon
·       Salt to taste.

Method

·       Crush the garlic & keep aside.
·       Heat the kadai with oil fry the peanuts & fried gram one by one till the nuts get crispy, transfer to the bowl.
·       Heat the kadai again with oil add crushed garlic, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder & salt, fry for one minute.
·       Add puffed rice, nuts & mix it well for a minute, switch off the stove.
·       Let the kara pori in the hot kadai for 5 minutes. The pori will get crispy.
·       Enjoy this spicy kara pori with hot coffee or tea.
